Factory Reset

If the screen is new and has not been previously used or the Factory Reset has already been done, skip to step 2. Otherwise, perform the Factory Reset.

How to do a Factory Reset

Admin > Factory Reset

    Go to the menu, Administrator > Factory Reset. A cancel or confirm message will be displayed. When you confirm, the screen will turn off

    Turn the screen on again

    Once the screen is turned on, set Language Selection and Country and Time Zone

    Skip the step to configure Rotation = Off

    Configure the Network Settings. In the option Internet Connection Type, select either Wired (recommended) or WIFI = OK

    Skip the Timer On/Off configuration step

    To install Admira, go to Menu > Quick Settings > Server Settings YES
  • 6
    The WebOS configuration window will then appear. Configure the following options: Application launch Mode: Local Fully Qualified Domain Name: On
    In the address bar:http://install.admira.com/webos/
    Application type: IPK
    Local Application upgrade: Remote (the screen must be connected to the Internet, otherwise an error will appear).
    Automatic update: Off

Settings and configuration

Once configured, reset the screen by turning it off and on again.

It is important to take into account the power settings. Leave the default settings and just change Restart after power failure.

Restart after power failure: PWR (On)

In general, it is recommended to keep screen orientation off, but we can set it to vertical at the customer’s request.




It is recommended to always use the Timer manually and not automatically.

Time & date



For WebOS 4, the default security code is 0 0 0 0. You can change it to one of your choice in the menu Administrator > Change Password. 

It is recommended to lock IR. Go to the menu Administrator > Access Lock > IR Lock and select: On only. In this way, the remote control will only respond to the power button.

To unlock the remote, simply keep the menu button pressed for 8 seconds and you will be prompted to enter the unlock code.
