What is the need?

The connectivity section allows you to know the operational status of your circuit. It offers a series of KPIs (key performance indicators) about the connection time of your players, so that you can monitor each player one by one and detect possible incidents. It is a very useful tool to identify players that remain off or disconnected at the point of sale longer than they should.

If a player is offline, it does not necessarily mean that it is not broadcasting. The Admira software is designed to ensure that broadcasting is not interrupted even if the internet connection has been lost. In such cases, the broadcast will continue with the content already downloaded and always complying with the parameters set on the platform.

In order to have a more accurate picture of the status of your circuit, the connectivity of a player is always established according to its assigned schedule on the platform, so that the times when the player must remain off can be excluded from the indicators. If the player has no schedule assigned, it will be considered to be 24 hours a day.

Conectivity ranges

Connectivity ranges are set for all projects as follows:

  • Low: 0% – 25%
  • Medium: 25% – 75%
  • High: 75% – 100%

The Admira Platform does, however, allow you to customize these ranges, and to do so for each project independently.
